PolyDowel™ – 3/8 Tapered Plate Dowel

The future of concrete flatwork.

Equivalent joint performance to steel, noncorrosive without stainless steel, at only 20% of the weight.

PolyDowel™ 3/8 in is a CFRTP tapered plate dowel qualified as a direct structural replacement for 3/8 in steel tapered plate dowels in concrete slabs 5–8 in thick. Full-scale joint testing demonstrates equivalent load-transfer capacity and service-range stiffness.

Compatible with standard 3/8 in pocket formers and ReForm’s reusable cavity former system (coming soon).

FRP rebar, now field-bendable.

ReFormBar™ is a continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic (CFRTP) reinforcement designed for concrete applications where corrosion resistance, reduced weight, and field adaptability matter. Using controlled heat, ReFormBar™ can be bent to project-specific geometry without compromising structural performance.

Unlike conventional FRP rebar, which is rigid and limited to pre-formed shapes, ReFormBar™ enables on-site forming while retaining long-term durability and strength.

ReFormBar™ is currently a working prototype undergoing ASTM and ACI evaluation and is available for early-stage use at the project owner’s discretion. Tensile modulus options include 45 GPa (Grade 2) and 60 GPa (Grade 3).
