Our Story
Before founding ReForm, our team spent more than a decade leading advanced composites R&D for structural applications measured against metals in demanding environments.
Through that work, we saw the potential of continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastics, along with the barriers limiting broader adoption: manufacturing scale, practical validation, and application-specific development.
ReForm was created to close that gap. By combining Continuous Forming™ with deep engineering, testing, and market understanding, we help customers prove, produce, and adopt CFRTP solutions in real-world structural applications.

Our Team
Cody Sheltra, P.E., Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer
Cody leads ReForm’s vision and strategy, guiding the development of structural CFRTP products and the technologies required to manufacture them at scale. With a background in composite mechanics, manufacturing systems, and machine design, he conceived and led the development of Continuous Forming™, advancing it from an early concept into a scalable manufacturing platform supporting real-world production.
Cody brings extensive experience in strategic development, industry partnerships, and guiding complex composite technologies from concept through deployment. He is a member of the inaugural American Composites Manufacturers Association Emerging Leaders Program. Cody holds a PSM in Materials Engineering and Business Management and a bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, combining technical leadership with business execution to guide ReForm’s growth.
Samuel Heathcote, Co-Founder, Chief Operating Officer
Sam leads ReForm’s operations, guiding programs and projects from planning through delivery while helping develop the production systems required to scale the company’s manufacturing capabilities. His background spans bioengineering, electrical engineering, instrumentation, and smart manufacturing, giving him a strong foundation for integrating equipment, controls, data, and process requirements into practical production lines.
Paired with his experience in program management and his role as COO, Sam helps ensure ReForm’s manufacturing systems are developed not only to perform technically, but to meet the operational needs of the company and its customers. Sam holds a bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering and has completed graduate coursework in electrical engineering and business administration.
Dr. Philip Bean, Co-Founder, Chief Technical Officer
Phil leads ReForm’s technical strategy, advancing the Continuous Forming™ platform and the structural CFRTP products manufactured with it. He specializes in modeling, simulation, composite mechanics, and mechanical design, helping ensure new technologies transition efficiently from concept to scalable application. As CTO, Phil directs the use of advanced analysis and engineering methods to balance structural performance, manufacturability, and practical deployment.
Phil holds a Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and has authored peer-reviewed publications in thermoforming simulation, hybrid composites, and additive manufacturing. His ability to apply rigorous analysis to complex composite systems helps ensure ReForm’s technologies deliver both high performance and practical value.
Jacob Clark, Co-Founder, Director of Composites for Infrastructure
Jacob leads composite development for infrastructure and construction applications. He specializes in structural composite design, mechanics, testing, and performance validation, with experience translating advanced materials into practical, standards-aligned products.
Jacob holds a Master of Science in Structural Engineering and has published research on CFRTP systems, including early work on bendable CFRTP reinforcement for concrete. At ReForm, he leads composite design, testing, and standards alignment, ensuring products meet the mechanical, durability, and constructability requirements of infrastructure and industrial applications. His work bridges advanced composites research with practical deployment at scale.
Vincent Armstrong, Director of Commercial Development
Vincent leads commercial development at ReForm, driving the commercialization of building and construction products while developing customer and industry opportunities for Continuous Forming. His background spans technical application development, business development, product management, marketing, and sales within the advanced composites industry, giving him a strong understanding of both the technical requirements of composite products and the markets they serve.
Prior to joining ReForm, Vincent held technical and commercial roles with Avient Corporation, ultimately leading business activities for its Advanced Composites building and construction market. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University. At ReForm, Vincent works closely with customers, suppliers, and the technical team to identify opportunities, develop practical solutions, and move composite technologies toward commercial adoption.
Rachel Sheltra, Director of Communications
Rachel leads ReForm’s training, communications, and workforce development initiatives. She specializes in translating complex technical information into clear, accessible resources for customers, partners, and employees. At ReForm, she develops training materials, technical guides, and educational programs that support the effective adoption and use of CFRTP products and manufacturing technologies.
Rachel holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Curriculum Development. Drawing on her background in education and distance learning, she helps strengthen ReForm’s technical communication, customer readiness, and long-term workforce development.
