PolyDowel™ Plates

The future of durable slab-on-grade flatwork.

PolyDowel™ is a composite tapered plate dowel that provides load transfer across concrete construction joints in slab-on-grade applications. The tapered geometry distributes bearing stresses while allowing lateral and axial movement from shrinkage and differential slab movement, supporting long-term joint stability.

Manufactured from continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic (CFRTP), PolyDowel™ is non-corrosive and delivers equivalent joint performance at nearly 80 percent less weight than steel.

FRP rebar, now field-bendable.

ReFormBar™ is a continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic (CFRTP) reinforcement designed for concrete applications where corrosion resistance, reduced weight, and field adaptability matter. Using controlled heat, ReFormBar™ can be bent to project-specific geometry without compromising structural performance.

Unlike conventional FRP rebar, which is rigid and limited to pre-formed shapes, ReFormBar™ enables on-site forming while retaining long-term durability and strength.

ReFormBar™ is currently a working prototype undergoing ASTM and ACI evaluation and is available for early-stage use at the project owner’s discretion. Tensile modulus options include 45 GPa (Grade 2) and 60 GPa (Grade 3).
